The Creation:
In the Spring of 2011 through social networking two vegan chefs Jessica Gilgurd and Trina Quinn, had the fortune of meeting. Their shared views on food and cooking, and the impact it has on people, brought the two chefs together both personally and professionally. It is hard enough to be vegan in a non vegan world, but it's even harder when those vegan options available to you, are either out of reach or completely lack luster. The amount of times we have personally spent weeks saving our money in anticipation in order to try out "this new vegan restaurant," and at the end of the meal left severely disappointed, is too many to count. As a result we have created... Spoon Me!
A business that caters to vegans and non vegans alike with one goal in mind, to provide beautiful and delicious food. We are not another fad hitting the market. What we are, are two people trying to bring real food that is accessible to everyone. We do not believe that fresh and tasty food should suffer in flavor because it is vegan. Our belief is that people should walk away from our food positively satisfied and wanting more, not because it was vegan, but because the overall experience was that good.
